Interest groups offer AAUW members an opportunity to do what they enjoy and to explore new interests. They provide a forum to meet and get to know other members better. Each group is autonomous, choosing its own chairperson and setting its own program and schedule.

Membership in AAUW Bakersfield Branch is required for participation in interest groups. A non-member may serve as a bridge group substitute in an emergency.

Some groups may be limited in size due to their nature, such as gourmet groups. Members are encouraged to start new interest groups at any time.

Check the Pipeline or online calendar for topics and dates.
